Depending on your skill and the your game playing sometimes its good to have someone telling you what to do, as long as its not over the top (like it seems happened to you). I remember once (ages ago v1.3/1.4/1.5) i won a 2v3, mainly due to the fact that the person telling me what to do was Lai. It can at times help to have experienced players helping you, as long as they don't order you around and get pissed of at you when things go badly.

So if I get AT eagles for only 8 CP total that gives me +15% penetration on RRs, then I get raid assault that gives me +50% dmg. RR's aren't that bad, why is everyone saying schrecks are so much better as they don't seem to be?

also tbh if u hadnt dropped u would probably have won i had no callins left apart from what was onfield

Raid Assault vet 3 airborne have +70% damage, +50% HP, and -20% incoming received accuracy.  It was like you were fighting 23 Airborne troopers with 7 Recoilless Rifles between them.

(In other words, about equivalent to 4 vet 0 recoilless squads).

Regardless, a good initial shot with the tiger would have shut them down anyway. Thing hits hard.  Veteran Airborne RR squads get 3 or 4 men knocked off them by single Tiger shots all the time.
