I will commence this post with a full apology for quitting a hard fought battle mid way through when i still had remaining forces, i unfortunatley lost my ability to control my temper (& the toys fell out of the pram).
This apology is directed to all the Allied players Stuart7500, Brad Anderson & Salan, It also applies to one of the Axis players of either MistenTHA or sgHC but definately does not apply to the Target clicking TIT who continually tried to order me to move my men onto his objectives throughout the battle (I am fully sick & tired of supposedly godlike players thinkin they have some god given right to direct my units in these games).
I seriously dont give a fart how skilled u may think u are all u do is distract me from my playing (& enjoyment of my game) just learn the folllowing rule u command yr own troops & not mine u mofo.
I am perfectly capable of seeing the 2 units i havent moved for the last minute without a stupid RED circle appearing over them every 5 seconds (i only wish it was possible to disable the damn target objective marker in this game). And i have my own reasons for not moving such units ie.. ive already scouted whats ahead & im awaiting reinforcements etc...
The final straw in this game was the loss of my full health Vet 3 Tiger (which has taken approximately 2 weeks of play - since i joined this mod to acquire) which was destroyed by no less than 2 full Airborne squads with Double RR from the front(whilst i had inf cover & was deap in my own set up zone).
All ive recently seen is posts about Shrecks need to b nerfed left right & centre as they r so cheap from allied players, what i would like to no is when r these damn RR goin to get some balance, seriously 2 squads of airborne whilst being shot at by several axis inf squads & a Vet 3 tiger should not be able to take out a Tiger so easliy without support (ie AT or baz or Sherman) frankly its a joke. I have no problem with losing a Tiger if i stupidly overextend(or use to chase a damn calli) or it gets overwhelmed by superior forces, but 2 Airborne squads needs a fix imo.
Anyway i think my rant is over & if any of the above players feel they no longer wish to play against me, np, i find playing games against the elite players here not to my taste & prefer to play vs equivalent experienced individuals (who also dont appear to feel the need to direct my forces in battle).

That's alright, we're not mad, or angry, I understand.
Many a time I've lost my vet 2/3 calliope because of lack of help from people (or my own fault), but it is terrible to have that happen...

Two recoilless groups taking out a vet 3 tiger from the front?
...was it already almost dead? It takes long enough to take out a StuG from the front with RRs.

At the moment recoilless and schreks has the same price diffrence as in vCoH, if you change that value it'll be unbalanced. 3 patches ago we had cheaper RR's, and it was clearly something wrong, now we had to cheap schreks.

I saw 3 airborne take out a panther at half health with grenades once so anything is possible. Sorry for the loss of your Tiger despite the precautions you took. I wish I could take out a pershing with 2 sturm schreckers, but that costs almost 700 munitions or 3 1/2 pak guns.

Replay perhaps? I have a hard time believing that two squads of RR could take your Tiger out given the support that you stated you had.

Backseat commanders are the worst. I too hate them.

No offence, but I do not belive that what so ever. It took me 4 vet 2 RR squads about 3 volleys to take down a non-supported vet0 tiger with full health. I took almost no casualties, maybe 2 or 3 guys. But the tiger had no support and no vet. And I mostly shot from behind and sides.

ya, i rember last war when this hapind to me, there back seat comanding pissed me off alot. i was a fresh EiR player then so i respect that they where trying to help but still it made me lose my focus and lose haft my storm troopers (realy great men to vet 2s all of em) having a pro player screeming over ventro and pinging the min map to the point i cant see is very hard to cope with.
unless you realy need that much guidence (in wich case you should have at least read the guids and help threds first) it actualy is worse to back seat comand than to let the player do his own thing.
well im glad i am past that point in my EIR experance (with over 35 games under my belt this war alone!) but still its sad to see others going through similer experances.
ps: sory about the tiger i know how hard it is to lose such a valuble unit wich you have played with all war.

Most of the time when someone is telling you to attack somewhere its because hes trying to coordinate with his own troops and that helps you both. If you dont agree with what hes telling you to do simply say so and offer up a new idea. This is a team game and the team should talk to eachother and work together otherwise all you will have in a 3v3 is 3 seperate 1v1's in a single game and thats no fun.
Like when someone tells you to defend a flank, its usually not because they are trying to backseat command your troops its because they are going to assault from the other flank etc.
Believe me ive played with a lot of new players and sometimes they do need help micromanaging their troops. If someone points out your troops are sitting in the back not doing anything and you have a good reason for it just say so. Often times I say something like that it actually helps the other player because they simply forgot about those troops in the heat of battle.
Obviously there is a way to go about helping someone without yelling at them or constantly pinging the map but you get what im saying.

You should find the replay if you bothered to save it and post it along with the battle number.

ya but anthony, what hapins when they dont give you a chance to explain. it hapins. they want you to fallow there stratagy not the teams.
this is ok in 2v2 but in 3v3 or 4v4 it comes down to the teams tatics not one person who wants to get vet like most of these pros. when you are focusing say on 1 or 2 storm squads behind enemy lines (as i usualy do) you dont have time to check your units back home, cus if you do you could send your storms right into a infentry blob or sherman.
i am all for guidence but having pros nag and nag cus you dont move that one gren squad or slip up and bring in the wrong unit, it realy realy dosent help.

ffs, i just had a long paragraph typed out that didnt save right =/
But I don't think the tiger is the center of the topic here, lol.
But I know it can be frustrating when people are telling you one thing, i personally have never had to deal with a backseat commander, but i know a recent game i was playing i was fighting two fronts supporting my team mates, and microing a set of troops up top, thankfully keegan kept me on track with my southern troops "gahhh! move your AT gun to get that croc" thankfully my teammates are good, and nice, so the overwhelming amount of micro and stuff paid off when we won =)

No, but they have experience and they are experts. And being experts on the leaderboard, they are pro.

Na, you need to start looking closer to the Win/Loss of those "experienced" players. The only thing that it tracks are territories. Most of them have played a ton of games... but most of them have lost half of them Ability cannot be measured in "exp" or vet either. Because even a player with a below %50 average can have a high vet company. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Vet doesn't fix stupid.
