The war in iraq as the "War of 3 trllions dollars"

When the president of US declared that the war in iraq would cost 50 billion dollars noone would have imagined the truth.
Because in reality, the wa in iraq will cost the american and iraqi people the amazing sum of 3 trillion dollars, making this war the most expensive in human history after WWII..

At first glance this is unbelievable conclusion, but it was adressed by nobel winner in economics Joseph E. Stiglitz and Harvard proffesor Linda J. Bilmes in April 2008.

Heres another thing with China. There conamy i9s growing were has the USes is well, not growing. A number of Chinias bisnass men could easily crash the US econamy by dumping heaps of maney into the system all at once. Pluse I thing you underestamate the Chineas navy, air force and army. If the US navy did manege to blockade China from the sea Chinas army would push out into asia and europe. Not saying the US couldn't win. Just saying they wouldn't have a garentead win and even if they did, it would be a costly war.

I'm not even bothering to respond to this. You clearly don't have a clue as to the innerworkings of the military or economics. You don't even know the outerworkings of anything!

Any way with china would probably kill quite the huge millions of chinese, but the chinese population would never be the target (same with russia). The governments, like in Iraq, would be the prime target, with spit off terror groups being next. As there exist no such idiotic groups in China or Russia (it's quite the culture-thing in the middle east) it would be different from Iraq. And why do you think the US would be able to role into China wihtout a problem? Why don't you think Chineas bisnessmen would be able to crash the US econamy? Why do you think the US is some sort of be all own all home of freedom with no problems and that it could steam roll any other contry. Yes its a superpower, but no its not invincable, it's not the sorce of freedom and all good tech, and it didn't win WW2 all by it self.

The US wasn't even fighting in WW2 for half of it. In the Pacific yes they did win there but they had support from ANZACs. It wasn't just them. In Africa it wasn't just the US, there were also British and Anzac forces fighting there and there was probebly more allied troops in Africa has well has thos three.
In Europe it was the US, British, Canadian plus troops from numerous smaller contrys on in the push into France and even then alot of German troops were on fighting the Russians. By no means was WW2 wone by the Americans, it was won by the allies.
