me(terror) + niichts(terror) vs saint(armour) + twinetickler(infantry)

Allies won, we were confident about winning until we saw those three shermans at the end and we had no more anti-tank. I think both teams were down to our last guys, but I guess we needed to cap more ground. Definitely podcast or shoutcast worthy, whichever.

Man you guys sure blew it! Even passed the 20 minute mark you had them held up.

Saint was feeding your MGs all his rifles, even braving a gauntlet of 42's and Ostwinds. I truly thought he would be out of men. Good thing he has those 8 Shermans!  Grin

And twinetickler's brief howitzer cameo seemed to magnetize to your shreck squads! How inconvenient, hah!

I didn't catch the time on the replay, but there were moments at the end where I felt the need to fast forward, the action slows a bit.

I had call-ins...But I had no AT call ins, Which I thought for some time we could manage without, or the Panther would be enough.  I did not expect that much armor still on the allied side.  I also believe there was a Howitzer barrage in there, target'ing my unmanned Pak gun just to clear it off the field.  That...did not help.

The game was pretty long, around 50 minutes i think, to answer that question.  It does slow down a bit, as we got quite defensive and were cautious about pushing foward, at all, and just tried to hold our ground.  I was really hoping for us to win on Popcap, did not get there though.  I beleive they said they had 20pop when the game ended.

Well played, till the end, Mr. Opponents
