***** So I've heard it a few times in posts regarding to it being some sort of balancing system. Can someone give a good explanation of how it works?

ANTS is the stupid system that ensures that you have no idea who you're playing against and makes it impossible to do a battle where the win %s differ by >30%.

based on games you win and lost. It trys to match you up with people in your range but sometimes it falls apart then other times it works out depending on the day. You can't see who you play agaist till the game is started.

***** how does it work though? or instance, my first game was a 3v3 where two of the players on my side were completely new. Yet we went against 3 vet players, one of which I recognized in the top 10. I'm sure they would have had to have over 30% overall on us.

ANTS is basically an Arranged Team automatch system whether the users think it is or not.  It's just that the match system only requires the average percentages of each sides team to be within 30% of each other.

It would be better if you add a game skill guide to the creating game function. i.e. novice, seasoned and veteran. This would indicate what level of player is sought after for each game hopefully allowing newbies to play with the newbies and so on, although not perfect for fixing balance it would help out alot!

Great players still lose, so their percents go down. Also you can have 2 great players and some one who is new who has a low percent, which would lower the percent into acceptable ANTS parameters.

In short many of the best players still have 60-80% win ratio.
So unless you have 33% or lower you will more then likely play them at least one's.
