I hate ostwinds. Unlike M8's they fire at a much faster rate, have a much more powerful shot, are much faster, are much stronger, are far more maneuverable, and will utterly dominate both armor and infantry (unlike the M8).

I hate the armor we have as allies. Except the croc. nothing beats the croc .

Just curious, raise of hands (posts...), who else thinks OWs are OP???

... Don't compare the M8 and the Ostwind. M8 is comparable to Puma. The Ostwind is the counter to the Crocodile. It's mainly anti-infantry. It's poor anti-air and the only armor it really does anything against is M8s.

One unconventional tactic for PE is shooting out the treads of a sherman then sticking the infantry support Pv4 behind it. With next to no velocity it still manages to penetrate and take down a non upgunned sherman (with a good bit of life left too.) For the life of me I can't remember if it beats an upgunned sherman this way... Either way, nobody ever suspects that you will do that and just assumes that the Pv4 is useless against their tanks.

I wonder if the ostwind could kill shermans using the same tactic once PE is added.

...sure as hell beats the hell out of losing your Pv4 to a sherman...
