Red Baron, do you want to be our glider pilot, effectively making you part of the ground force after landing?
If he doesn't get killed in the landing.

Maybe Red Baron could be the pilot of a glider that carries all our canister equipment or maybe has the LG40 parts? Then again if we come in together in a Glider we would all be together without needing to regroup (But risk having all our equipment scattered all over the place).

Equipment would all be in the glider. I think paradropping would just slow down the beginning of the game.

But add interesting choices.
Do I hide, regroup, or dircetly head for the container.
Why not chose it on personal preference?
And remember:
Everyone dropping per chute needs to retrieve his rifle from a container.
It's not like you can carry them, or roll a dice on landing, 50% hurting yourself, 50% damaging the weapon.
Btw, I carry so many equipment because I fill multiple roles.
I'm radio operator, explosives expert, and a good scout/spotter.
Thats the only thing I've learned from tabletop games and civbuilders in strategy games:
More negative traits allow for more positive traits.
I may give radiooperator or explosives specialist to someone else if one wants to join, but I keep myself the possibility of scouting and laying booby traps.
What I got a problem with:
As an Obergefreiter, may I designate a Schütze to carry my equipment?
A half dozen grenades, a bag of explosives, fuses and wire, a repeaterrifle, Submachinegun, Radio equipment and binoculars will really tear me down;

I think we need more than one GM in order to keep the RP active. Also, are actions going to be based on dice rolls by the GM?

Don't expect me to do it. You should lighten your own load if it realistically too much to carry around or better yet, just assign that job to some NPC Private.

Character: Nick Vedelago
Age: 43 years
Rank: Unranked
Awards: None
Unit: Unattached
Weapons:
Lee Enfield No.4 fitted with telescopic sight (plenty of ammunition)
Beretta Brevetta 1915 semiautomatic pistol (9mm) (3 clips)
Various knives
Equipment:
Excessive amounts of wine/brandy
WWI Italian Uniform
WWI Italian Helmet
Stocked larder
Compass
Entrenching tools
Rudimentary workshop
Skills:
-Expert Marksman - A veteran sharpshooter of WWI, Nick continued to hone his remarkable skills after the war in trick shooting competitions. He has remarkable eyesight and a steady hand as well as the training to make maximum use of the two. These attributes make him a formidable opponent at long range.
-Mountaineering - Nick has spent much time traversing the rough terrain around his vineyards and is adept at finding paths others cannot
Traits:
-Veteran - A hardened veteran of the First World War, Nick can keep his cool under fire and is not adverse to doing what is needed to secure victory
-Local - Has experience with the landscape and is knowledgeable of superior firing positions
-Influence - As a local vineyard owner and supplier of fine alcohol, Nick has many coveted goods for trade with the defending forces. He is also well known around the island by other locals.
-Limp - Injured in the final days of the war, Nick now lives with an injured left leg. Although the injury does not impair his mobility to any great degree, he tires easily and is not suited for long marches.
-Patience - Time spent tending vines has left Nick with this enviable quality
-Age - Nick's long life has jaded him and prevents him for attempting acts of exceptional courage.
Background:
Nick was born and raised in Italy by his Italian father and Greek mother. He lied about his age in order to join the army when Italy first entered the war. He was recognized for his outstanding marksmanship early and was assigned to one of the first sniper divisions. In the hellish world of trench warfare, Nick learned to conceal himself and shoot with unerring accuracy. His outstanding performance led him to eventually specialize in counter sniping. Nick fought with Italians during every battle of Isonzo and had 871 confirmed kills by the end of the war.
After the war, Nick married a Greek woman and moved to Crete to relax. He started a small vineyard in the foothills and became known for his high quality wine. When he heard of the German' plans to invade, he traded some of his finest brandy for a high quality Lee Enfield sniper rifle and ammunition. Nick used his knowledge of the land to identify nearby natural choke points that the Germans needed to pass through on their way to the city. He now watches these points from the safety of hideouts about the fringe of the city; waiting to disrupt the command structure of the German invasion. He wants revenge for the Great War.

A 2end GM is dicussable but not wise imo.
It woud be like throwing 2 different books togther and hopeing that something good comes out.
I appriciate the help that Apex and Falcon provide.
Apex i woud like to keep it as human as possible. There will be "npc´s".
1 Squad on each side is the idear while the greek troops are free to choose if they want to join the british squad or to dig in at one of the targets. The british coud be leaderless and vote for a leader in the pre battle-face ... or not.
I was thinking about paradroping Fallschirms, glider landed equipment.
There first will be a Pre-Battle Face where the british talk a bit and place themself around while stumpster joins them. At the same time the axis will be in flight and talking, issueing orders, preparing themself.
I am looking forward to tommorow.
