Great work Apex Smiley

News from the front:
Today we pay homage to our very own 363rd Terror (APEX) division. These men are making a name for themselves on both sides of the war. With 107 battles under their belt the 363rd Terror (APEX) division has spent enough blood, sweat, and more blood to earn themselves this distinction. Their reputation is justified as they have beat down, destroyed, and bested 83 Allied divisions in fierce battle. It is well known amongst the Allies, that when you you go up against the 363rd Terror (APEX) you go up against the best.

Their reputation is justified as they have beat down, destroyed, and bested 83 Allied divisions in fierce battle.

1 Division vs. 83 Allied Divisions in a single battle.

If it said, "...in a fierce battle." you would be correct.  As it is, it can be taken either way.

I'm not worried APEX will make it back to the top!

You probably know but that is a picture of a Panther not a Kink Tiger, which would be more fitting no?

Yeah, I don't doubt APEX is good, even though I've never played with him. I do play with Schultz a lot though, (our 2v2 put him up in 1st) and I can testify he knows what he's doing. Even still, APEX is more noticeable because of the KT which I'm sure has German Steel. It'd be hard to miss. I know Schultz personally doesn't value vet all that much.

PS I have the best kill ratio! The only one that rounds up to 3:1 ! (Current at time of writing)

LOL u cant base someones skill on territorys taken because all it shows is one person plays more than another APEX is a fantastic player and if u think dalton is better your playing a different game lol also its not difficult to get a good KD ratio as axis considering your 4 man squads do more damage than my 6 man

you don't use infantry squads to get a high K/D ratio..

until they put in the personal ranking system it is impossible to truly say who is better.

the leader boards show a good different ideas on stats, for instance schultz has a good K'd over apex, but apex has a better win/loss ratio.

ultimately to say whoever is the best would be the Win/Loss as thats ultimately the only thing that matters in the end, but even then the variables are so large on who you fight WITH, and who you fight against.

just gotta wait for that ranking system I guess?

and leafedge does have a good K/D at 2.5 after 68ish games.  I run at 2.0 after 48 games and am extremely happy with that number myself, it is not always easy to inflict more actual LOSSES on the enemy while retaining your own troops lives.

It's true that you can't really be sure who is the superior player just by looking at stats on the website. Even if you made a 2v2 and used to team swapping bug (just made that name up, dunno if there's a word for it) to pit both axis against each other it still wouldn't be fair because they are designed to fight allied companies. Also, who you play with has an incredible effect on you stats. My win loss ratio is rather unimpressive at a current 56%. I played with a lot of noobs against vet companies in my early days and I've only been playing around a month, but best K/D on leader board at least reflects that I'm one of the better players.

I'll fully admit to the allies that I have an easier time getting a higher ratio as axis (K/D is one of the few things that stats can provide accurate data as to balance), but I don't claim 2.53 (current after last game) as allies, everyone can see I play axis so theres no point bringing that argument up. Anyway, I'd don't think my strategy is more effective that players with lesser ratios, or that my micro is that good, I just have a play style that tends to incur few losses, and doesn't suffer much in terms of overall effectiveness. Just wish I could take back my early losses before I switched to this style...I almost never get under 2-1 and regularly get around 3-1 nowadays.

Or that you're smart enough to know when to send in your troops and when not to.

Sometimes you have to send men in to die, to win the overall battle.

Gotta break a few eggs an' all that. Grin

I generally send Riflemen deliberately into MG fire to die, although it's more to draw that fire away from my Flamethrowers

I broke a riflemen blob with a volks/sturmtruppen blob.

I lost a good 15 men to a good 25 men. Doesn't make me a bad player, means I broke the blob and took equal loses cost wise.

i have a feeling that only stumpster known what this post about. The funny "error" in the news if you look at it the way I do.

1 Division vs. 83 Allied Divisions in a single battle.

1 Division = 10,000 men

83 Divisions = 830,000 men

so in one battle Apex's division killed 830,000 manpower in one battle...

Then some how the topic was moved to blob of soldiers ....
