I know that the war may be over before I even get a game in today, but anyone out there play Aerial Brothers?

Looking at the stats, you can pretty much replace all riflemen with AB troops (rifles are 210, while AB are about 220 mp), with grenades a 20 muni a pop.

And man, that sounds pretty tempting. No riflemen, which means troops deploying right to the front lines. For every BAR you would be giving to rifles you can replace with 5 nades.

I'm not sure which T3 would be best to pair up with this, raid I think would be most likely.

But with AB at 420 health and rifles at 330, this seems like the best choice for attrition. You would also have access to the best AT in the game as well as some fantastic base troops.

My available companies:
Allies:
*AB company going for raid assault
  Infantry going for tank reapers
Axis:
*Defensive going for rocket artillery
  Blitz going for lightning war
And an experimental Terror company going for subversion consisting of all volks and two King Tigers

You have the 'nade price wrong.  Base cost of a 'nade for airborne is 65mu so at 70% of cost it is 46 each.

PS.  I did try Aerial brothers a bit and am tempted to try it again.  However, I do remember spending a lot of time being chased around by Volks spam.

It isn't bad, but I personally prefer Airborne Elite because it offers more utility. You can always just put RBs into manpower if you're low on Airborne.

Ah crap I must of got the numbers backwards when I did the math.

But if you are getting chased around by volks spam with AB, if it werent your AB getting chased, then it would be your rifles, and your AB should still fair better then the rifles.

I still want to try raid assault before I give Air Brothers a try.

Technically, it is just over 20 a nade (per use) but 46 as a package.

I'm trying it this war on the way to getting airborne elite again (I had last war).
Only because the advantages are better getting there than going straight for elite.

i have aerial brother the last war.

My company did really well until rr and grenade ammo was rised.

You don't have enough resoruce to buy rr and granade for even half of the ab so this tier4 isn't so usefull Wink

I'm thinking of going raid assault this war rather then AB elite, because I figure with the extra damage and health, getting AB up to vet 1 should not be too hard. The hard part is finding a T3 to go with it. I'm thinking of Drop Readyness for quicker deployment and even more damage from the RRs. Though I feel like I'd be dumb to not get advanced strafing runs to take out blobs. But heavy ordnance combined with the raid assault would mean lots of nades, so maybe that would be the best way to deal with the blobs.
