Picked up the game yesterday, have yet to get a chance to play it.  I got it mostly so I can bring the laptop into work on Sundays and play it here without being bored out of my mind.  Since BioWare put it out I know it will be great.

There are really only 2 companies that I like to spend my money on when they put a game out.  Bioware and Relic, the ONLY bad thing about Mass Effect that I see right now is that it was put out by the money hungry bastard known as EA...and it irks me to no end to know that part of my money spent to support BioWare went to those pricks.

Then copy it from a friend and send an anonymous gift of 50 bucks to bioware X-D .

Austria where I could buy Gears of War for PC!

Actually I looked into the copying thing, besides the fact that it randomly asks you to reverify your CD key I found that it also breaks the ingame map(I havent seen it yet but I guess its a pain if you cant use it).

So I bought it and gave the money hungry, company ruining assholes (EA) some more money in their pockets.

Yeah it will do that.  Though really 2GB is pretty much minimum for any game made after 2006.

DD2 is pretty cheap right now, I recommend upgrading.  If you live in the states you can get 2x 1GB sticks of DDR2 800 for <$100.  Look for OCZ, Crucial Ballistix, G.Skill or Corsair.

Crucial Ballistix $30 after Mail-in rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146565

OCZ Gold $25 after MR:
