It surely must be a thankless and unrewarding task to devolop a mod if all you get for your trouble is harrassment, impatience and criticism from players. Instead the developers should be getting gratitude and respect and perhaps a large sum of money. I suspect they recieve none of those and the ignorant wonder why the mod is abandoned.....
you would be wrong if you thought ALL of the community were ignorant and dis-respectful. Its the internet, you gotta ignore the crap because its everywhere.
