Democracy is indeed a farce, but as the old adage goes what is the Alternative ?

- Schwarzuhr

I would say a constitutional republic is a much more reasonable way. You've got securities on what you don't want your elected officials to do, they have a much more limited power, and you don't have the masses of retards trying to dictate what they want you to do, instead you have someone serving their constituents that votes in mind of what they want represented. But then again no one seems to care about what constitutions mean these days Undecided

I am also a dedicated opponent to globalism because I believe countries and their populaces should have a right to self determination. For instance if some country like Iran wants to have Sharia law, go for it! However, when centralized government comes along it takes away from the culture when if enforces laws over smaller municipalities. For instance Germany likes to have lots of stuff taken care of by the government, whereas Hong Kong brushes aside the government in order to take care of business. Laws are often a cultural aspect and governence from a distance and other culture or no culture at all can be a serious detriment to local peoples. This is why we as people gather, but in different places (as easily mirrored in gangs/cliques, languages, nationalities, races, etc.). It's just merely the order of things.

And as DBSights2 was talking about Eugenics wasn't brought up only by the Nazis. In fact Marcus Garvey (a significant black rights leader of the 19th century in the US) was a firm believer in Eugenics in order to lessen the sufferage of his race.

And as for the oil prices. You guys should know that OPEC rarely increases production on the fact that the OPEC countries are a cartel and are allowed to only produce so much in order to maintain profit margains for all of the member countries. When there is a rise in demand (China, India, US) and limited changes in production, crude oil prices can easily become higher which makes a chain reaction all the way from the refineries to the consumer.

Everyone judges everything around them.  Its a natural part of being self-conscious.  Those that deny it are just deluding themselves; they refuse to become fully conscious of their surroundings.

tisk tisk tisk. i am dulude because i refuse to judge other ppl to make my self feel better about my self?

because i don't look at other countries and people and go WOW we are so so much better than them they don't need to exist because where so so much better. you are deluded You Cant Judge Two Completely Different Sets of Life Styles ESPECIALY IF YOU BELONG TO ONE OF THE ONES IN QESTION, unless you actually go out and live there way YOU CAN NOT SAY THEY ARE USLESS!

When you say that I just keep thinking about stagnation.  New genetics evolve from isolated populations.  Widespread mixing decreases evolutionary potential.

so do we need to evolve, we are very close to genetic engineering now we can do it our selves, and any natural traits would be useless with the level of technology we have now.

ps: wow and this all started with a with a simple video lol

Wow, I actually understood the video about 80% =).
I like WW2 reenactment, always wanted to do it myself, I'd play as Wehrmacht, never SS though.
(But I see no real harm with other people reenacting them in the end, it's about being historically correct about the battles that took place in Normandy, not about underlying political motives and all that crap)

I think this video will appropriately sum up everything that's been said in this thread and give us further insight into these important issues: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIUzLpO1kxI

Ignorance is a bliss Smiley

No one wants to point out flaws in their own lives. No one really wants to look back and say, Wow... I really fucked up that part of my life. No one wants to go against their culture.

If a person is happy with his life, you can't argue with him and tell him to change his culture. Why fix something that isn't broken? It's a pointless argument that goes round and round. If you really want to argue about religion, Go learn the Socratic Method, and analyze religion, and give me your results.

Its like bashing your head against a brick wall. Don't do it.

And, I ask you, why should we value Muslim culture?
What have they ever done for the world?
What is worth preserving in their culture that is not already in Christianity?

Then you think of all that Western Culture has done for the world (technology, individual freedoms, democracy) and you have to wonder, isn't it right for us to remove the Muslim culture?

A stupid statement - many modern advancements can be credited to Arab scholars. In fact, more basic, but groundbreaking advancements were made by Arabs long ago than by the western Christian world. Look at digits, medicine, all kinds of things. Do some homework and you'll find that these fields were propelled intensely by Arabs....yes Muslims have made some contributions to our world. I wish people didn't make such blanket statements, they make themselves look badly.

As for world government? Fucking unlikely. Power is spread way too unevenly in this world for world government to be practical or even possible. Maybe if humanity was some kind of homogeneous society it would work, but racial and cultural divides are far too great for there to be lasting peace in a unified world. Humanity will destroy itself before there is any sort of world peace, it's simply more practical, and much easier to do. By the way - did I mention that we're already on our way to ending ourselves through our total disregard for our environment and a various multitude of other reasons?
