Well I found this sound mod for COH and its already in the SGA format so I believe it should work with EIR I've already tried it with COH it is very good. It is very realistic and adds a new light to the game. And its very awesome to hear the MGs firing.I think its worth trying it out. http://companyofheroes.filefront.com/file/Ace40ks_Sound_Mod;82970

Unless it has the name of an EiR .module file it will not work while EiR is running. Maybe Kolath or someone can make this compatible.

I'm using one made by LoranKorn, slightly modified by me, but overall the the sounds are really good quality and expectational, also he has a vehicle one which is really impressive. If anyone is interested here is the link, http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=135454&page=1&pp=15 Does anyone have any footage with Ace's sounds on youtube.com perhaps?

Just rename your 'soundmod.sga' (or whatever the name of your soundmod.sga is) to that of a crappy map no one plays anyway and it'll work =).

I guess you have to work the module file changes into the eir module, just changing names won't get them used, as nothing refers to them.

If people are still trying, or haven't figured it out, it's pretty easy to get working. 3. If you already have a modified RelicCOH.module file for your own modification or if you want to include my sounds in your own mod or whatever, do this:
- open the RelicCOH.module via Notepad/Editor or any text editing program
- locate the lines [data:sound_low] and [data:sound_high] in the file
- delete all the content there and/or directly replace the existing text with this:
[data:sound_low] folder = WW2\DataSoundLow archive.01 = WW2\Archives\WW2AceSoundmod_Low archive.02 = WW2\Archives\WW2SoundLow
[data:sound_high] folder = WW2\DataSoundHigh archive.01 = WW2\Archives\WW2AceSoundmod_High archive.02 = WW2\Archives\WW2SoundHigh
