I have the Game but I hate it. Every unit is equal in every way to its counter part. Now that is lame ass balancing.

I used to play it all the time until I found EiR and now I just dont see the point...it's so vanilla just like escforreality said all units are the same verylame ass balancing.

and they're coming out with an expansion pack...no new units just missions, how lame is that!

God how I loved this game. Was really fun, I was even in open beta where I joined a clan. I am still in this clan to this day, and the only way to really do good in WiC is by playing with friends/ a clan.

But with its price nowadays and the amount people still play, id buy it.

I just can't see myself playing it anymore. I still have it installed because it was fun and i was temporarily part of a clan (they kicked me out after i didn't play for a long time) but because all the units are so much the same expect the heavy artillery it gets boring...i mean c'mon a t-80 and m1a2 are in no ways the same, an m1a2 vs a t-80 wins 99% of the time

Having units balanced in price then wouldn't be as good aswell, as in certain situations the better tanks would allways win, but with full resources they'll allways get outnumbered.

Try getting triple-nukes because everyone siphons points to you, then giving extra points to someone else, leading to a double nuke.

3 Booms, every single enemy unit goes bye-bye, enemy units respawn, start getting irradiated, double nukes finish them off. /ragequit.

At that point you're already so ahead in the battle I'm sure it wasn't much of a fight anyway.  Tongue

You can get a double nuke with good teamplay in a balanced midgame.
Arty near spawn and a forward push, that will gain you incredible ground.

It's not an expansion pack. They're releasing the game for consoles and it is going to have a soviet campaign.

Massgate is offering a booster pack that includes those missions for a small $ amount.

Well they at first called it an expansion pack when I first heard about it.

http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/world-in-conflict-soviet-assault/

An expansion pack to the critically-acclaimed strategy game World in Conflict, Soviet Assault takes the battle to Russia with all-new campaigns set on USSR soil.

Note: This expansion pack requires the full version of World in Conflict to play.
