Hi guys, sorry to drop in on you but wanted to let you know that the Ventrilo server will be coming down.  If someone wants to purchase one, I'll change that status on the left to that server for you.  I use hostventrilo.com - they have the cheapest prices of any that I've found.

As soon as the Relic patch hits, let me know if it breaks anything, someone can email me and I'll see what the deal is... Thanks guys.

someone just put in some money on the paypal yesterday or the day before, could that be used to keep it up or at least the website, thats really what we need I guess..

Hmm... I hadn't checked.  I will check and see what the balance is... last I checked it was in the negatives...

The website is definitely not coming down, FYI.  It would just be ventrilo...

I vote for keeping vent up through donations, rather than having to recreate the wheel again on permissions, user groups, channels, passwords, etc.

we'll be going to our own ventrilo it looks like, which is fine.. we'll make a vanilla EIR channel there even Wink

the tags will be more customizable for divisions... will work fine with the immersion of TLS.

Agreed, I think there is a possibility that having TLS make a new vent server could be for the better, being able to grant more control to people to keep mic spammers and such out.

A guy that i know has Teamspeak and i think he runs the server off his computer thus being free, but probably can't handle many ppl.
