What a crazy spam fest.  I've never seen 30+ pios on the field setting double that in mines and goliaths.  The sad thing is that it actually worked!

Protip: Bring minesweepers

(that get pinned by MGs guarding the mines)

Protip: Bring crab flail shermans to clear mines and mgs

(that get pwnt by cloaked paks)

Protip: Bring howitzers to clear the minefield

(that get pwnt by firestorm and v1)

Protip: Bring T4 calliope to clear the minefield

(hmm...) That just might work!

yeah our three companies combined didnt have any form of arty.   i saw all of the pios in the courtyard when we did a recon run and i warned him not to drop there...maybe he drifted..but he landed in a minefield lol

Desperation Tip: airdrop 3 airborne behind enemy lines, spread them out, then retreat to set off all the mines Cheesy

But that's not counting all the Goliaths which would absolutely destroy the Mine Flail.

This game was painful.
The pure epicness of my favourite tactics combined with the sheer mass of 3 players.
Was definately worth a watch, even if it's embarrasing this works out.

We apologised at the end Smiley.
The element of surprise is too important, without it it wouldn't work as well.

As for howitzers and calliope, a goliath support rush wouldve probably owned those :p.
(Or one of Brad's StuG rushes lmao)

Also I think the bigger problem was fatherland defense which stacks, without those 5 minutes we would've probably not pulled it off so effectively.

It's "Fatherland Fortification".
Was nicely managed ingame already, allies complaining about the long wait.
I think 2 Calliopes guarded by wire and HMGs would have really ripped this tactic apart.
Also, Crabs would have been really effective in a Phalanx X-D

I was really laughing when seing that, I pulled that off once 2 Wars ago on bastion, I didn't only mine the city, I tanktrapped it in but 2 entrances and the enemy always got lost in the maze.

That was a lovely game, really.
But why smurfing, no one is expecting this tactic anyways?

Dunno, wasn't really smurfing in the end because I'm under the impression they knew who we were anyway.
(And that's duvka's main account)
