Hey, as it stands i really like EIR, forget building stuff just get to the good stuff of blowing stuff up but ive encouterd "Failed to  connect to the "so and so"". its just getting annoying now as it would be only 1 player , sometimes i will go game in and out with this error and other times its like the plague", ive checked some troubleshoots in the forum but still have no luck i have the 2 availible ports open so i can play online but even certain players have noticed that this is happening way to much.

Im running on windows vista.

Im really just looking for ideas oon what i could possibly do.....Huh Huh

Are you using a router?
Is it running a firewall?
Do you have any other type of internet security?
Is that running a firewall?

Did you allow it through windows firewall? Even if it is off, still make sure you have it allowed.

Try resetting your router before trying to join.

It shouldn't really matter if you're not actually hosting the game. Sometimes the "Failed To Connect" error is just random. Or you and the other player may simply not have a good connection towards eachother.

Worst case scenario, wait it out until Relic releases the beta patch into retail.  There are a ton of networking fixes that should help you out.
