What about the epic -building but not finishing- tank traps?

I believe this has been posted as a known exploit.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

I still don't understand how building unfinished tank traps is an issue, even regular rifle fire will kill the tanktraps in about 5 seconds. Building ghost tank traps though is a very serious exploit indeed.

Shouldn't be done on mass scale obviously, but if someone forgets to finish a few or has their pioneers die in the middle of building it? Not a big deal at all.

i watched it, he didn't forget ... the pioneers were right beside them at one point and moved off, in another direction.  It was obvious how he placed them that they were meant to simply and quickly block the access of that route.

Its an exploit because the tank traps don't take just 5 seconds. And when in the heat of battle I now need to micro my rifles to shoot at the tank traps before I can move my tank around while still taking fire. Plus I believe un-finished TTs restrict infantry movement. Basically if the person spent the time to fully build them then they should be an annoyance, but when they spend 5 sedonds to but up 8 to accomplish basically the same goal I call bullshit on them.

Not the same goal, real tank traps will effectively prevent you from going that way, unbuilt ones will just require you to shoot them one time before moving in. I think people are exaggerating this. That being said, it's been decided it is an exploit so w/e. But if you kill pioneers who are building it you'll have to kill it just as well, unless you're going to whine 'exploit' then, which would be kinda sad. :p

Building them behind tanks and stuff though is indeed exploitish Wink.

We ban him for a week in this case.

Honestly, you can't expect everyone to read the forums and know this. Give him a warning.
It's not like you lost the game over it.

(And easiest solution is making unbuilt tanktraps crushable)
