Battle Number #6539

This is a de-synced game, but for those people who want to know how to use AB aggressively in fast raids and assaults, please check out the replay.

My first consideration of suddenly dropping in the AB without a recon run was that, they were defensive and had an extra min to set up. I was afraid of a complex mine, tank trap, wire and an 88 set up coupled with heavily vetted defence. So I dropped them in the field where I expected an 88 to set up.

From that point on, it was a relentless assault on multiple weak points to prevent them from setting up a good defence. The casualty count is high but if you don't push hard, you will never break through.

Use satchels & grenades to clear and destroy buildings. The essential to winning in lightning assaults is to have your partner link up ASAP with your troops. Airborne CANNOT hold territory, leave it to the infantry player.

One highlight is dropping near the graveyard behind the church to take it... the HMG was a strong point. Therefore I decided to hit them from 3 directions. Confusion is essential to beating people with better micro. Sadly the game... desynced.
