Post replay. Community counts up MU (usually stumpster does this). If the math comes out wrong = banzor?

Assault in retail CoH is not only rare to be seen due to its inherently EASILY avoidable design (just retreat to base, 50 munitions wasted on what amounts to an officer prop war with some firework attached, if he uses it on you jump in/out of a house, run up to them, suppress them, throw a nuclear pineapple right back... et c...) but also blitzkrieg doctrine is rare to begin with because, frankly, it sucks in retail. Really hard.
As for EIR, the retreat option still exists (and let's be honest it's a bloody rifle squad or something, who gives a crap it's cheap and expendable) and you can easily destroy the assaulting squad just like in retail.
Now what's funny (and unfortunately not allowed in EIR for some reason) is using assault grenades from INSIDE of houses...

Simplicity is right, but he's also wrong. Assault grenades work on buildings. But there are certain buildings, especially on EiR maps, on which you can't use assault grenades on. A popular example is the church on road to carentan.
Until the lazy mappers fix this, there's nothing we can do about that.

I don't know if I am right but, if you are too close to the bulding you want to target you can't throw any grenade, not only assault. So, I suppose that carentan church can be targeted as well. I might be wrong but it is a thing I've noticed so far.

You can stand as close to the building as you want before turning assault on, if you aren't throwing grenades it's a bug created by the map makers.
