...

As the title says I do have a little problem with the battlecamera in game of Company of Heroes. When I zoom farer out it hides everything except a tiny bit of troops. Everything outside that spot will disappear (units, ground props etc)

Now it is quite easy to avoid it but still irritates because I won't be able to see enemy movement nor my own troops movement...

So how to fix this? I can zoom back about 2-3 clicks then props begins to disappear and same with units...

Before my PC Format it worked very well...now after I've installed it back I've had this problem- how to fix it?
Or is there any fix for it?

You might have installed the EIR Camera Zoom.  Check in this folder:

C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\EuropeInRuins\Archives

If there is a EuropeInRuinsCameraOption in there, delete it and the extra-zoom out won't be there anymore.

If I delete it will it now take away the ability to zoom out back?

Because I need/like the feature but not the little bug it has...

Ah, well I'm not too sure how to fix that.  I'd assume that if you increased graphics it might work...but I'm not sure which one setting it would be.

You need to turn up the model detail all the way (I think thats the slider anyway) thats accessable in the Options menu in game.

Hope that helps

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

That's correct. For some reason Relic seems to thing the "model detail" has nothing to do with the detail of models and everything to do with rendering distance. When this slider is at the far right you should be able to see everything while having the camera zoomed all the way out, even with modification.
