Twas early in the morning when a sad, overweight, middle-class Australian gamer, who is known on the sacred Internets as DasGuntLord, sat gingerly at his computer, anticipation in his veins.

Today was the day!  The day he had been waiting for for two weeks! the day of the BTGN Noob Company of Heroes Tournament!

My opponent for round 1 was Valkeller, which did not raise alarm bells immediately.  However, I was curious as to this players skill, and so I checked his statistics.

Whereupon I found he was, as they say in gaming circles, "Level 6."

This disheartened me, for I am but a measly "Level 1".  However, I did not let this bring me down too far, for I may yet have been as good as him!

Long story short, I got raped, reemed, schooled, ganked, and owned, at the same time, twice.

If you have BTGN tournament stories, post them here, with replays if you think they are leet enough.  Grin

Yea, I didn't make my match... why did they have set times?  Retarded.

I lost mine even though with a little more effort I could've won.
Meh, just wanted the key Smiley.

At least I got to go out right after playing that match again (interesting to note is I came home to eat and play that match in the first place - sad I know LOL Tongue), saw some bands, had some fun, etc.

if i had actaully got in, i would have lost the first round so I didn't run the risk of not making the next set of games and losing the cd key. Smiley
