Watch the epic AT-HTs rape infantry and tanks alike.  Including killing a firefly without treadbreaker, and owning infantry with focus fire.

I find I'm not afraid of tigers anymore.  They're too slow.  Panthers can't take the heat a firefly can put out, and a king tiger ends up being target practice.

Fireflies are a big weakness to a King Tiger, but then again, you don't use it to kill fireflies. Very simple Smiley

Yes, your not scared of them when you have a firefly on the field but when that thing goes down to say invisible schrecked storms or a pak, you'll follow through.

Add one pak to that equation and the firefly is helpless.

No, but I do use fireflies to kill a King Tiger.

Benevolence:  Actually, because I'm in the bad habit of being hugely mobile, I don't sit still long.  I don't like it, it makes me feel vulnerable. This has the advantage of making me rather hard to sneak up on with stormies.  It's also the reason my priest lives for a while longer than a game or two.

It was definatly a good fight.

The germans had to abandon infantry onces the tommy swarms started owning the field.  (Not inclding MG's and paks)  The only things they had to counter that were tanks.  And ATHTs amazingly enough, which were microed well.

The germans had a machine shop set up in the back too, and that helped alot.

When the game was still in the balence, if the shermans hadn't of sat in the back while the tommy swarms were trying to make progress it could have been a diffeant game.

I can't say they would have won, but there would have been a few less axis tanks left.

Overall the allies seemed to play more indipendand of each other while the axis supported each other.  Mostly.

Disclaimer: I watched the replay once, maybe I missed some things.

This game shows one of the best way to kill fireflies, charge! Tiger Aze is a king tiger with the speed of a panther, there's no chance for a firfly if you charge him. And if they have a firefly on the field they are most likey not having 17 pounders.

Ain't it (the Tiger Ace) actualy just a normal Tiger with the speed of a Panther?  The King Tiger is a King Tiger.

Unless your commening on something else, and it just went over my head.

A Tiger Ace is a tiger with the speed of a panther, better armor, better gun, and an extra 500 health.

Unless I remember wrong, I believe I evaded even the Puma.  Something about a bofors, or allied support, or something like that.  Not sure exactly.

But according to these forums AT-HT is worthless outside of treadbreaker?  It shouldve done no damage at all!

Its an incredibly good support weapon at only 3 pop, yet certain people still whine.
