and finaly its done: Goodwood from the british campaign.
ive had alot of problems editing the map, but the result is really worth it:
MAP UPDATE:
loading screen wasnt working, its fixed now. link to 6p_goodwood.sga:

this is the version thats in the autoupdater right now
THIS MAP IS NOW DOWLOADED TROUGH THE LAUNCHER, NO NEED FOR DOWNLOADING
UPDATE
and here it is: the new version of Goodwood
changes:
- map is now a 6-8 player map
- territories are better(i hope) LOOK @ IMAGE
- some buildings changed
- and some shit i cant renember

You should get rid of some of those sectors near the spawn points, never have more than the amount of players in those areas as it'll just be annoying that players have to go out and cap pointless sectors.
If it's a 3vs3 I would also suggest not having more than 4 sectors next to eachother at most on 1 'row', even around the middle, else you'll get lots of backcapping.

i guess youre right,
but about this: ''never have more than the amount of players in those areas'' there are only 3 or 4 sectors around the spawn so thats just right...

i dont see that too.
but yeah now i think about it, i better redo the territories, but becouse i dont have experience with that, you maybe draw me a sketch or something?
edit: or make it a 4v4?

so about redoing the territories,
this is how it is now:
and this is how it could be:
is this better? only thing i dont like now, is that there are only three territories in the middle. and the middle should be the hardest to hold.

I don't like the province completely surrounded on the left. You should combine it and the one around it and then split it across the middle.

Yep. Else the one who controls the outer sector can also control the inner sector. Giving an unfair advantage to whoever gets there first.

Or more likely, simply making it uncappable by the north team, since one end of the outer sector is practically in a spawn.

now ive played a 3v3 on the map, and 2 players had problems with the size of the map. their computers couldnt take it. now is the question, must i remove all the grass, decals enz so people can run it? i really dont like doing that. ppl just should lower their graphics for one time.
i wont surround the town on the left, but the territories must be larger.
EDIT: should these territories(green lines) be better? and some extra explanation: the red line in the middle stands for a good defensive line, becouse you onnnly have to defend 3 terrtiores. but in the blue lines, you must defend 5 territories so just everyboddy wants the middle becouse its good to defend, but then, advancing is really dificult becouse the amount of territories there. i think this will lead to a long, balanced game where each army still have some chanses even if they dont have the middle.

just played a match, 3v3
i got to say this is the best game i ever played in A LONG TIME that means something!
might need to work on artillery lines, but i dont know how. axis surely had a hard time moving forward.

ARtillery line is set by scar for the game, you can't change it I don't believe.
BUT you can add pregame artillery.
