How about having the munition halftrack get like 5 mines for an increased price. Buying a unit like that and then getting one mine and one goliath is kinda little, I like to be able to make a minefield if I am going to sink fuel and manpower into a unit that doesn't fight.

Yes, great idea. I suggested being able to buy additional mines for this like you used to buy additional bunkers for a single pio in old EIR.

600 manpower and 95 fuel to lay six mines? Yes thats sounds uber pro, Mysthalin. I'd compare to engies or pios but .. whats the point you would just object and dream up something

Maybe the Muns HT should get 2 Mines for free and you can add an extra 2 for some more muns cost?

Unless they changed mines in vCoH, their should be no performance differences. Are you sure you are not talking about Teller mines?

It's actualy 105 FU, my dear smokaz.
And I don't know, a 60 percent bonus to all my other stuff's reload and ROF sounds like a good trade off for me. Let's say an IHT + shrek + Assault gren?
Along with 6 mines being placed in the middle before the enemy got halfway there, it comes out like a nice trade. Hooray to blobbing, too.

As a side note, when you get the Muni HT as Wehr reinforcements it doesn't decrease the mortar ROF or the reload speed.

Can anyone confirm what Mysthalin is ranting about? AFAIK the munition halftrack bonus doesnt stack.. therefore the 60% bonus to reload and ROF is another one of his pipe dreams.. also sending high quality units against the blob is exactly what most blobbers want you to do.. they just mob it with their numbers.

If the MUN ht bonus stacks it is broken and must be fixed asap.

As for rushing mun hts to middle.. Most competent players send a jeep to the middle for those exact reasons, mysthalin. If he sees 3 munition halftracks.. well... he might suspect a single mine or two to have been laid down.. Roll Eyes

(Not to mention you are down 9 fighting pop by keeping them on the field)

Smokaz, could you refrain from begining ad hominem?
As far as I know, the bonuses stack, just not sure if it's multiplicating, or additive.(1.2*1.2*1.2 or 1+0.2+0.2+0.2).

Elite - the mun HTs increase ROF and decrease reload time. They do not affect cooldowns.

You say that with such certainly myst. Wink

FYI, munitions HT's aura decreases weapon cooldown and reload by 25%, multiplicative.   Not to be confused with ability cooldown.

Its basically good for tank/AT weapons like shreks and 75mm cannons and such.  I suppose it has some use for weapons like G43s, its like a third of a lieutenent in this case(vet 2 LT has bigger cooldown bonus and a huge accuracy bonus).  The bonus is a little better for rapid fire weapons like mounted MGs and FG42s, if PE got LMGs the LMGs gain a significant buff from it.

Think half a lieutenent combined with half a command tank.   Its actually quite useful.  Unsure if the aura stacks however, but thats something that can be easilly checked in game.
