I love what OF has done to EIR tbh, and off-maps aren´t in yet lolz.

Watch how your eyes blow up when you see 2 priest, 25 pounder + victor target doing their job, getting dodged at lot of times but it doesn´t matter since 1 lucky shot from each barrage can screw you up.... thanks to the ROF those things have.

lol you thougth that artillery was bad on that game? you should've seen our prevoius game with two hummels and a nebel.

I'll be honest, what beat you that game wasn't so much arty, it was the poor attitude of one of your team-members. Online gaming is often all about psychology, and pak didn't want to work for it.

It depends on your play style and what type of units your running.

For me, it's mostly Riflemen with a weapon team as support, so I don't get caught by the artillery as much as my team mates who seem to go heavy on emplacements or support teams. For me, remaining mobile is better.

pretty much yeah. I dont get killed by arty on my pe account because i'm  mobile player. Wehr is pretty stationary and kinda like the Yankees, they move station to station, hoping for the big one but sometimes they can get bogged down in one spot because of whatever reason, maybe SW spam.

This is a common misconception, but as advantages come in to place you will realize how false that is.
Now all battles last half an hour to 40 minutes. 3 mgs are considered support spam. When enough pps, munition and manpower kick in there will be a different ball game. When we get two calliopes or priests per player we can talk about artillery again.

and other than tym said PE will get raped by artillery

because that hummel would be a nice target for my proud british army Cheesy

maybe i should give this a try my tactic was always blob first turtle later...maybe i should swap this...heavy sim city first (with arty) and some blobbing after opponents run out of stuff...to steamroll them

ps: maybe axis would have had a better chance without wasting ressources in useless units like AT halftracks or vampire.....

Vampire gives you a radar, and LATHT gives you a unit that can immobilise calliopes in one shot at full health(ask osprey how he loved it ^^) and an immensely powerful anti-inf tool.
Those aren't useless units.

for a 210 35fuel unit that needs to setup and has the detection range of maybe a bofor range and shows infantry only and only on minimap

it is clearly a waste of resources

and the upgraded light AT halftrack is for 275mp 135muni 50fuel clearly a waste of resources

axis had 6 of it...the best got 12 infantry kills and made 1 engine damage....the most died with zero kills...

that is so many wasted resources...watch the replay and say again how much the L-AT-HT owned.....
and at least killer344 tried to micro his halftracks
