Lets face it - everyone thinks its funny to kill other peoples vet units and attempt to hut down precious costly PP units with veterency, but everyone also thinks its sadface if your pet tiger or beloved vet 3 kettenkrad gets p0wned. Its funny when it happens to others, sad when it happens to you.

Guess what, its part of the game and I think a lot of people secretely enjoy this. And I think the rush most people feel when they got up against vet 3 tiger aces and pershings to kill them, or trying to finish off retreating vet 3 storms is a great part of the game for both the guy trying to kill it and the guy trying to save it.

I think it would be fun to embrace this part of the game. When the leaderboard is finished/made public, you could see who has the most highly vetted units on each side. If this unit is killed by a player on the opposing team, it should give a large XP bonus to ensure it gains its next level of veterancy and a small PP bonus like +3 PPs for that battle.

Expecially if who attempts to vet hunt gets own3d in the same game or fails miserably  Grin Vet Hunts are the most funny moments in the game.

vethunting is not only part of the game, vethunting is part on the way to victory

if you kill vet3 units or even vet2 some people ragequit or they got angry and make many mistakes..but at least they will make early retreats

im sometimes changing my company before a game when i know my opponent has a "vet pet" go for it when it is on the field

  • vote for chasing down vet units or units that costs PP (heavy tanks heavy artillery)

Fail no

If you kill an vet unit, you stop him from useing it in next battle, thats the main point

Every unit you kill that is on the top ten XP could give 2 PP.

The killer could get 20% of the victims XP. Of course it can only possibly get to the next level up so a vet 1 unit is not going to gain much from killing a super but if your vet 3 kills a 1000XP enemy that would help you get on the list yourself.

Everyone will still have an axis/allied account when the "war" begins.

Yep. Because between timezones you either have too many axis or allies. Want to play? Run 2 accounts.

that was not what i meant....
people complain about sacrifieing more expensive units (in ressources) to chase down retreating vet units until map entry point and that this is only for griefing vet
these people are wrong because it makes you winning a battle because of my points a listed in my post

and actually it is good if people have high vet units because trying to kill a vet unit makes your chances better in winning the battle

I like to vet hunt the vet hunters cos most of the time the vet hunters send out vetted unit to kill the other vetted unit they are after. It always fun to kill them and watch someone rage quit cos of it Smiley

Maybe the ability to place a bounty on enemy units should be given to high ranking players that contribute the war effort (once the warmap is implemented).

I love this idea!

Get enough exp. and that squad could be given an infamous title or rank. you could name the squad something cool like "the dirty (half) dozen" if its a rifle squad. Cheesy

I hereby place a bounty on all of Boobakas vet 3stormtroopers/grenadiers, heads delivered to me in a mundane bag. 10.000 PPS is your reward, to be collected upon all of heads delivered.

Get out of your mancave and play some real games btw

Dnicee has a Stormtrooper with 356xp while Boobaka's Grenadiers (not storms) are his highest, actually 182. And Smokaz, your Stormtroopers have 317xp.

I say the hunt is on for those. Kill Smokaz' 317xp Stormtrooper squad, and I'll see if I can get EIRRMOD to give you 6 Prestige Points. Mwaha!

Dnice's stormtroopers are special, I wouldn't want anyone but myself to m10 crush or otherwise mangle them.
