Then use 2 snipers. Place them a ways behind the captain.

They both fire at once and then if he retreats they both get another shot each which should drop him.

Then speed in with a halftrack and extract your snipers or create a diversion and let them creep away.

Drop nebs to cover their retreat.

The second goliath might not crit him successfully, however, especially given the dodge bonuses captains get in their own territory.

No edit button in this forum, either, apparently -

I've shot a vet 3 captain in territory with a sniper three times in a row before, it literally bounces off because of the dodge bonuses being so insane.
