Alright, i understand your doing a server change, that any recent changes may not apply... Also, that the server is going to be reset soon anyhow, but i cant help but be blatantly annoyed.

I just logged in after a couple of days of taking a break and catching up on other things... For my company to have been reverted to the state it was in a day before i started to take my break.

It's kinda gutting that my Pershing which had 189 exp, now has 100 on the dot. While other units do have vet from that "time"... My hard work on getting that Pershy up (Which was bloody hard, considering i did a unorthodox first unit Persh call in for shock tactics) feels wasted by a server glitch.

Purposefully resetting the server, not only has an announced time, but is perfectly reasonable... But this, is an un-announced kick to the goulies.

Guess i'm a victim of a server hiccup to a greater extreme than most, but i bloody well hope this sort of thing isnt going to happen with the new server.

I suppose this was just a rant, and will likely be seen as such... But hell, i'm sure anybody else would be annoyed if half a unit's vet got slashed un-announced.

For the record, my company is at it's state approx 4 days back.

You're on the new server, everyone lost xp and games played due to a database error or something that occurred during the switch.

Don't get too attached, there's a wipe soon anyway.

We apologise for the inconvenience, it's just one of those things that happens, sorry man.
At least we have no more lag now, should allow you to get games quicker!

And if it's any consolation, it *should* never happen again unless the current server starts failing or in other exceptional circumstances Tongue.

"(Which was bloody hard, considering i did a unorthodox first unit Persh call in for shock tactics)"

Ahhh, that is really fun. I've done it twice before. The first time I took out an MG, a Mortar, a shreck team, a Pak, a bunker, and an Ostwind before I retreated off due to incoming Pak fire.

The second time, I was not as successful. I blasted Smokaz's first Stormie squad and P4 easily but as I was backing out I was taken by a vet 3 Stormtrooper x2 shreck unit. It was a shame and they made fun of me!  Tongue

Over all though I do enjoy the Pershing start. With a kitted vet Rifle squad and a Jeep in tow it can work very well.
