I got a few qeustions about the commando.

1. What is the smoke ability on? (Uses or cool down)
2. If on cool down what is the time untill next use?
3. If on uses how many do you get?

Rant

I jus played a game where some guy was spamming the hell out of stupid vet 0-3 commando's and it was a jokes. He put smoke up when I pinned his vet 3 unit and the next thing I know the same units is behind my support units killing. The smoke was put over 5-10 meters away from my support units but was invisible out side the smoke for about 5 seconds.

1. It needs to change to when that units comes outside the smoke it is not hidden to enemy troops.

2. If the smoke ability is on a cool down it needs changing to uses cos this guy I played used it 6 times within the match on the same units.

3. The price on the ability or the unit need to be put up cos im fed up with these commando's putting smoke up and doin a "Harry Houdini" magic trick and appearing behind my units and jus killing them.

Im probly goin to get flamed for this topic but i think its stupid the way the commando's smoke works and how much it gets spammed.

a Unit that cloaks for a short ammount of time and can appear behind your support weapons with no notice and no access to any AT weapon whatsoever?

That can't be possible, it's not like there's a unit with an ability to cloak absolutely everywhere, and actualy have access to AT weapons on it too!

Oh, wait, my bad...

Anyways, on a more serious note, the commando smoke recharge is 300 seconds, as far as I know, and you get infinite uses... You pretty much gotta kill those commandos, if a unit used it 6 times, you've done something wrong to let an infantry unit live for an entirety of 1800 seconds - 30 minutes!

Well I can't do anything about his vet 3 units when I pin his units and he just puts smoke on them and they disappear be hind my line or out of my line of sight.

EDIT: Also no units can beat a vet 3 commando at close range not even an MG42 or KCH.

You played against Two. I played against his commandos, they are a pain in the ass, you need to get a ostwind. Kch only if you got more KcH than he got Commandos.

Drive through the smoke with a tank.

It kinda hard to use a tank or puma when im at full pop cap most of the time with AT, support weapons with a few grens and volks.

Moral of the story - don't spam support weapons, seeing as commandos are a hard counter to them.

Good ol' commandos.

What you need to do is when they appear behind your lines send grens or volks to attack them then send your hmg on em, if not bloody mortor them with the OP axis mortor your bound to kill them that way....

What you said won't ever succeed. You set your Mg up, volks attack, he pops smoke- Hmg dead, volks dead. Same with mortar, before the first round lands, it will be dead.

Yep that what exactly happened. Grens/Volks stand no chance against commandos at vet 2/3.

Buy a 3 pop wehr halftrack to keep around your mgs, use it to cockblock the commandos who have no AT as others have noted - that way you can still spam support weapons. Against the more advanced players, you can't just make do with recrewing volks, mgs and paks. You need utility units like bikes and pumas to keep your support spam well informed and healthy.

Also - use barbed wire to limit commando movement.

Well halftracks/ bikes get killed in seconds against commando's and a puma doesnt do c**p against them. Just misses everyshot with maybe a few good hits.

This is why I love PE.

Oh look, commandos, how cute. IHT full of assault grens drives up, the commandos try to run, get suppressed, pop smoke, reappear and get suppressed.

What if they throw a nade as you disembark?

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

You don't NEED to disembark at that point - the assault grens do the job from inside.

I see your point. But suppressed troops can throw grenades, and I'm pretty sure they hit stuff inside IHTs.
