Not enough data collected on the T17 to warrant a price decrease or a nerf for that matter.

the premise of this whole discussion is bogus. Fuel = survivability? since when. So a panther is so fn spensive bc it has tons hps? no fuel is a limiting cost to units, it is a reflection of how effective a vehicle is. Yes avail limits numbers but the cost of a unit limits the effective amount you can field bc you must balance the benifits of more with the cost to your overall company.

deadbolt, as my post initialy says - you gotta have immense skill and/or luck for something like that to happen. For a unit that's only useful at hunting and gangraping lone infantry with no AT or tanks, when in a wolfpack, it's not particularly worth the cost.
And the thing is - you're great at using vehicles. But units should be priced to be useful to the average player, not costed to what the best players can make them work like. If that were the case, we'd have to put Two's commandos to 750 MP and 300 MU, same for keiththarp's KCH - they're just that good.
My point is that the fuel cost doesn't really match the units survivability, and should be adressed. Heck, a 50 FU puma is 310 HP with a better armor. Where's the logic in that? The gun is not better, of course, but the MP price disrepancy deals with that part.
Fair point but devs have to look at the skill level of the community otherwise you'll be letting decent players run wild with a buff to a unit that makes it easier and/or affordable to a more average player. There's two sides to every coin.

Hey aloha! Guess what else kills EXTREMELY fast! Oh that would be the puma and AC! Once again the only time a T17 even comes close to standing a chance against a P4 is on a 1v1 with an open area to circle strafe (And oh the P4 managed to hit it once before it got in close giving it a damaged engine) really aloha your arguments are pointless, the T17 kills slower then a puma or AC admit it

Tons of HP(well, comparatively) and amazing frontal armor, mind you. It definately is about twice as survivable as a sherman(250 FU vs 500 FU)
The gun... the gun is rather fun indeed, therefore it also costs a hell lot of manpower.

to make the t17 worth it, just buy repairs on it, then field repairs, then crew repairs.

And the firefly?
It costs lots more than a sherman and has less hp.
Irregardless, with the relic patch soon there is no point changing the T17 only to do it again when the relic nerf hits. We'll have to see how much they nerfed it first.

The firefly costs 390 FU, comparatively to the Sherman's 250, because it's survivable in the sence it has obscene range, while on the same chasis as the sherman. It's only 86 less HP than the sherman, but the range disrepance really allows it to survive for much longer.

HP isn't everything, otherwise the Stuka would really break the rule. The Firefly will almost never be getting hit by enemy tanks unless you let it. That DRASTICALLY increases survivability.
Speaking of the Stuka; it's survivable because it's fast artillery. It's never exposed to combat; the only time it dies is if they rush past your lines to kill it.

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

*Thread necro*
I would like to point out that the British staghound, having 450 HP instead of the US T17's 175 HP, actualy costs 70 fuel(20 fuel less!), and has access to the best version of the .50 cal in the game. The staggie's .50cal can clear a building as fast as a T17s gun!!!
So yeah, wtf? The Staghound is tons more effective than the T17 - it can not only pack a punch, but also take a beating, unlike the T17 - that one can pretend to be packing a punch, but dieing to 2 shots from anything.

yeah true the mg on british staghound really rapes
and it cost not additional muni
i support you that these buggers are way to cheap for their effectiveness and badly need a price increase

The staghound is cheaper because despite its health is significantly worse.
In addition, you pay 75 munitions for that .50 upgrade.
Hopefully we will have the T17 sandbag upgrade available soon.
