i can add some craters. i dont wanna add to many objects because they create pathing issues. there has to be a balance between armor and infantry units. i dont want to create a map tha someone chooses because their doctrine has an advantage in.

This, can't have too much open space without cover?.
And by looking at that screenshot I can tell there's still too much open space without cover, even some light cover is sufficient. (Random bushes, etc)

I played a game on it, and damn is it bright. Way too much shine/glare.
Haven;t played it enough to make any sort of actual judgment, but it seems nice enough. Good to see more 4v4 maps are being made.

Okay finally have the right to post in this thread, heh.

Okay from what I played, the map is WAY TOO BRIGHT.  It's like playing in Russia, after a nasty snowstorm just stopped, and the sun just came out and is blinding to everyone who's in the game.

The next thing is, and I don't know if it's related to the 1st, the minimap in full view does not show any sector lines.  If its cause of the bright terrain, definitely must be addressed.

Lastly, the map seems to have a problem and if the game goes on too long or just long enough, you will hear a 'error' sound in the back and the game will lock, forcing at least myself and another guy to ctrl-alt-delete and force close the game client.

Areas that need improvement (Summary):
1.  Too Bright / Shiny on the map - Makes it hard to see; Suggest switching to a darker terrain palette
2.  Unable to distinguish sectors while in minimap mode
3.  Timed 'crash' or desync bug on map?

Areas that are fantastic (Summary):
1.  The overall design of the map I played seemed to have the right mix of 'objects', buildings, breakable walls/streets and plenty of avenues of attack.  LOVED that part of the map.
2.  Entry ways for players seems to be good, map is just the right size for a 4v4.

Overall, really liked the map, just it hurts the eyes to actually look and play it.  My observations on it.  Definitely has lots of potential.

That pic may look fine, but honestly the grass needs to be toned done, it's too white when you play on the default environmental setting, and I'm not the only one who thinks so.  Needs to have a more... I guess subdued look because honestly the map does hurt the eyes, my entire team was complaining when we played it.

check your gama settings for COH they might be to high. i honestly dont have that problem thats why i really dont want to mess with the lighting. there should be no reason why i can view it fine and other people heve a problem. regarding the grass, actually i dont think i used any grass, they are twigs.  Smiley

Maybe have another mapper take another look at it. I really like the look of the map and hope i can play on it, but with everyone saying it's bugged, the chances are low.
