Don't be ridiculous, this is EiR. The vast majority of people are always going to use the easiest doctrine. People get bored with the 2nd most powerful american/british/wm doctrines, but not the first. Maingun callis are great, but they have to be used right and frankly almost no one uses them right. And if you fuck up with one it's a lot of resources down the drain vs just 1 or 2 infantry squads. Rangers, on the other hand... anyone can use rangers. That's why ranger spam is the new big thing right now. |

I dunno wind, after hitting vet 5 maingun callies they start to get pretty damned boring to play with. As for rangers, they're still not as good as just buildng a horde of triple barmen.

Maingun callis are very good when used right. Rangers are just easier by a long shot though, which is why everyone uses them and no one currently uses Callis. |
