Yesterday we opened up the control panel to our pre-alpha testing audience.
The control panel allows the users to join a side (Axis or Allied) pick a doctrine and create companies, buy units and assign those purchased units to platoons. He can then battle other users with any of his created companies.
After a short period of intensive stress-testing, we were glad to note that the control panel is more or less bug free, enabling us to spend the rest of our time working towards improving the control panel interface-wise and getting the in-game modification, required for playing the battles, on a playable level.
fldash has also been hard at work getting the last bugs out of the in-game mod and after letting the testers give a go at it, we expect to be able to launch a public alpha test shortly after! So stay tuned for updates as our project nears alpha release.
