Actualy, they'd have the same ammount of HMGs two. HMGs make for good supporting fire Wink.

Actually, in real life different formations do different jobs, and in WW2 since thats the period we are talking about, lets say Armored Panzer Grenadiers are defending, well they are going to be light on support weapons other than MG42's. They have relatively few mortars and few ATGs if any. A unit has what it has organically, anything else it needs to request from higher up and hope its not given to someone else.

In fact, the best defense with said company would be a counter attack....ZOMG, which is what they actually do in real life.

Formation not good at defending or would lose advantages by doing so? Counter attack or withdraw and manuever!! ZOMG!!!!

Wait, so this means defending does not equal making a line of support weapons....could this mean attacking works multiple ways too?
