It kind of bothered me that they ran away from my units into cover where i can't chase them due to mg and then cloacked. I thought you couldn't cloak if you shot a shreck recently.

then from camo the 2 shotted an ATG but thats the regular expected damage output.

My question is how did the cloak after shooting?

I beleive teh cloack time depends on them being shot at.  It seems that bullets flying near by isn't enough hold up cloacking. 

I've had PzGrens trading fire with Rifles, and had me Tank busters run up inn between them, claok and then fire at something else. 

If your not activly shooting at them I think they can cloak still.  But the whole cloaking mechanic is weird, and I don't know if anyone actualy knows how to set it.

Cloaking confuses me as well, I don't experience tankbusters often, but I see the same thing with Piats (unless it was fixed recently) and 6 pounders. Either the detect range is too small, or the revert time is too low, but I often see units shoot, move and quickly cloak. It's frustrating because I'm used to my storms getting chewed up because they have to flee for a full 10 seconds past the last encounter before they can recloak, and they reveal at random times. Again, I'm not sure what the numbers game is up to, but it smells fishy to me as well.

frustration at the 57mm being so desructible.
I'd think all support weapons need 50% more HP they all dies so fast.

But thats offtopic.

So how does the cloaking mechanic work then?
I'd say copy from storms 5 seconds no cloak after shooting or make t easier to hit those guys with bullets. because if I understand correctly then 1 riflesquad 1 engi and 1 ATG missed every single bullet for 2 seconds which allowed the cloak.

Piats are differant.  They have a set 30 second timer between when you can tell them to cloack.  But units that "cloak in cover" wheres its all controlled somewhere else that cause teh confusion.  This is a fallshrimjeager thing mostly.  

Most of the units that you can activly order to cloack will cloak when you tell them to (if the preconditions are right)  even if the enimy is in line of side.  Storms, M18's, 6lber, sniper are some examples.  The ony time they won't is if your in their detect range.

maybe we can try a balance thread to even out all the cloaking mechanics.
Hetzer cloak is very sukish due to low benifits and no turret.

It was suppsed to be a doctrain choice.  Hetzer and Jagd can rotate while cloacked.  they jagd was going to get an ambush too. 

Thats disapeared for now, but I've pretty much given up on lobbying for the Tank Destroyers doctrain as theres so much going on with (the doctains) in the background right now.  So we'll have to wait and see what they come up with.

just let it turn enough that it can actually shoot something or reduce the aim time when cloaked to zero.

Honestly, its more then that, As far as I could tell its more of "bothered" post.  It didn't bother him enough to post without capital letters or spell check.  So STFU about what you qualify as rage posts or not. 

If you think it should be locked.  Hit the report button or PM someone.  Stop coming into post and asking unrelated questions about whether or not somewhat was angry when they typed a paragraph.

And if English isn't you main language.  Got to Goodle Docs type your stuff there and they can spell check it for you.


EDIT: I went and spellchecked my stuff while I was at it.
