I play 3 of the 4 at the moment, and like I already said, there are things on every faction that can push things and may seem to you unfair, but every side has something like that in it, balance is not just mirror matching or even rock, paper, scissors.

Which is why the mod right now is doing extremely well balance wise.

I cant remeber where i saw this but someone posted a chart on what they thought from OP to UP and it went like this...

Imo i dont think thats right, id rather vs 2 brits than 2 US, i know i can out mobile brits and kite all there infantry while my PAK cover the rear and Mortar killing AT guns. Anyone else share this same opinion?

It's simply impressive how BigDick's feel about balance changes after some "time" on the same thread... he started with this:

immediately  when i saw the thread i thought it can not be more than irony

- tank shock
- button from buildings/vehicles...
- instant vickers mmg pin
- bren price
- creeping barrage
- mortar pit (plasma shield, semiauto heal...)

- staghound mg upgrade

- some doctrine abilities

No, i made a chart on EASE of play. Basically how simple it is to create a new company and start winner and it goes Wehr, CW, US, PE.

I in no way said whos the most OP, just what side starts out the best and is the easiest to pick up. WM and CW start strong with their original units and Tier 1 abilities, US and PE don't really catch up until you can field a lot of units with advantages and start getting the Tier 2 and Tier 3 stuff.

where is the contradiction? i started counting all the op abilities and units of brits and they are on first place of my strongest faction list....


and sure each faction has doctrine builds that make them almost same strength as without doctrines....
or in other words they have some crap doctrin builds and some strong doctrin builds

but when you build your faction company by the imho best choices you will get imho my list

If anything wehrmacht is the easiest. If you take this into a 1v1 vcoh wehrmacht is probably the hardest. The only reasoning behind that is timing of when units come in and come out. Fast cromwell, m8, & times of elite infantry arrive just cripple Wehr. But.. lets look at late game Wehr which is considerable the most OVERPOWERED late game. Vet + T4 Weapon clearly outclass most other factions which is why they are Tier 4. In this mod, all tiers are clearly avaible so all the early game weaknesses of Wehrmacht are no longer there.

Of course, i'm taking in consideration of the MOD and how changes have been made. But with grenadier spam (fuck smokaz and his ideas) just makes it much more easier.

Wehrmacht has the longest range non-doctrinal mortar = 81mm
Wehrmacht's Hans the sniper issues from vcoh in countersniping has been rectified through his vet.

The list can go on. Just because wehr has a lot of specialists, doesnt make them the hardest to play. I'd say the entire discussion is pointless and only leaves flaming as a product. What is to be gained from finding out which faction is "best"? So someone can take the higher ground and belittle others for playing a "easy" faction?

the hardest faction to play is imho pe because of all glasscannons
and it depends i think us and brit are more forgiving than wehr
