When would you ever use the latter if you were choosing? Firestorm nebel is a lot more deadly than the mustard gass, and the disabling that you get from mustard dont all that well weigh up for the juicy splash damage from the firestorm nebel attack.

I think mustard gas needs to be reworked. More defined tbh.

It needs to be green, stay longer and hurt more.

Player sees his nebel is ready. He has both unlocked. WHEN WILL HE EVER CHOOSE MUSTARD?

I've found Mustard Gas to be useful against enemy weapons teams. Mortar teams or HMGs can be killed slowly before the opponent realizes that they're being gassed. Then again, I haven't had too much experience using it.

Giving the player option for one or the other or both caters to the variety of Terror.

You need to take the bottom T3 in the Heschnel design tree to get the firestorm barrage, where as any player, going any tree can get mustard gas, which they might want to use in conjunction with other trees.

So, it doesnt really matters that much if smokey will never choose to use mustard gas over the firestorm barrage, the point is that someone might want to do that, therefore we should cater to the option.

If you prefer one or the other, well you dont have to unlock both, we just give the option.

to me this translates into the ability being a bit weak, and having no speciality

Considering it gives you another barrage on your Nebelwerfer it is still incredibly useful, you can still fire off a barrage that can do considerable damage while the other barrage is still on cooldown.

That's the idea, if you see a massive (not to mention unrealistic) cloud of yellow smoke it's obviously going to make you move your units. If you make a cursory glance over some guys and see they're in what looks like a regular smokescreen you might overlook it, but if you notice they're taking slow damage you'll move them. It's about attentiveness in the end.
