I have received a progress report from high command. I very excited to announce substantial work has been done on the War Map.
The Boss has given me permission to post this.
Here is the first 4 weeks progress report, and plan for the next month (till the 18th):
Module / Requirement planningDuration: 4th Nov - 13th Nov

- Identified Warmap turn sequencing
Created the final ruleset for how sectors can behave - contested, in control, being 'taken over', what happens to the players when in a sector that they just lost etc.
- Basic 'Intel' and 'Spying' mechanics planned out
A system where playing one faction only allows you certain actions (for that faction), yet also allows you to play games for the other side, and giving 'Spy' type actions you can use to benefit 'your' faction.
