After having a sub-par game of Leutnant performance, I find that the Wehr officer may be significantly overpriced for munitions.
Coming in at 180Mu, his mortar barrage ability is clearly benchmarked against the Captain's FOO ability. However, I would rather use the FOO ability because it is so much more damaging. The first shot will hit on target, causing suppression/pin to surrounding units, allowing subsequent shots to kill them.
The Mortar barrage ability is random, and there are plenty of time for units to run away from it. I dropped it on an ATG and the minute the smoke drops, the ATG crew had time to pick up the ATG and wheel it away completely without damage.
I think the Mu needs to go down significantly, like to 100Mu or even less, depending on how much you want to rate for his buff abilities.
Better yet, just give me the officer WITHOUT the mortar barrage and charge me a cheaper price for it. Its so horrible, I don't even want to use it.

Actually, I had suppressed troops crawling away to taking only "half" of the damage (approximated). They crawled to the edge of the smoke in THAT TIME from smoke dropping to shells landing. |

It's not that the Officer's barrage is lackluster or anything, the problem is that FOO is ridiculously OP.

MY idea to try to limit allies arty you can only call off maps IF your RADIO SQUAD is on the field and has los then it can use the off map

Add delay between call-in time and the actual drop, remove all suppression from the barrage and put it on a global timer between all on-map Captains. Reduce price to ~100Mu. FOO is no longer gay. |
