Lets play a drinking game. Drink everytime a rifle gets retreated.
Drunk yet?

20 pop of at guns!
Now somehow, in my book, this is both good play and bad play. The good play is the play causing the win. The bad
gameplay is how almost all units become useless in EIRR games involving this kind of strategy because of the pace of the game which includes a too big a focus on the atg's and sucide infantry.
This may look like a tank game, but it isnt. EIRR is a game of tank + at gun. This game is a game of tank + at gun. Their 190 MP rifles are not retreated at all. They are just sent to die to decloak paks, or get off that 1 nade. Normally I approve, but I noticed that not a single rifle was retreated from David. Not even squads who had gained XP and obviously were just gonna die without doing any more harm.
Also notice how almost any cover mechanic is blatantly ignored by the riflemen players. Do you need to count on more than one hand - the time a rifle was put in cover instead of just rushed or put in a building to stall? Last time I checked, putting a six man riflesquad into a house with 1 window facing the enemy was not the best way to go about business.
Still not drunk? Well maybe they should have retreated some rifles out of the 200~ they lost, and you might have gotten a sip..
IVE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF SPAM COMPANIES, AND SUCIDING MY SHIT TO WIN THE GAME. But even so I usually TRY to get some of those dudes back. It's supposed to be the quintessential part of eirr to bring sqads from one engagement to the other. There's too much advantage to be had from running sucide companies, in some way EIRR should force you to conserve infantry better.
