Maybe it's because it's little to no different from the version last september?
Which you might have played too much?

Maybe if you get really good at Scar we could make you our "map coder" so we can start focussing on building in scenarios!

lets see Smiley, my RTC one is comming along, although not playable yet its getting there, randomising everything is making it harder, but it could make for some interesting varations in games.

unfortunatly there is only one sutiable path for the convoy to take in RTC so that wont change, in others there could be two or three options Smiley.

here is what iv got random so far:

  • each allied players Arrival Time (its an axis convoy)
  • The time for the convoy to reach the area
  • The size of the convoy, which directly effects how many need to be saved/ killed for a win/loss.

Don't make it drive from spawn A to spawn B you know.
With invincible units spawning it's not such a good idea to make it have to go through the enemy spawn point Wink.
(Unless you can make them spawn somewhere else)

Another interesting gamemode could be "hold out", in which one team has to control the center long enough for their other platoons to arrive.
Also consider infantry only, airbourne hold-outs, armour only, officer protection, etc Tongue.

na, they make the turn in the centre village and exit on the side.

You could also company rescue, one player is stuck on a hill/ in a town and the other player is the reinforcement...

i also really want to make an AB raid mission, but i need a map of an axis base, i dont really want to rip relics V1 site, if someone could be so kind as to either modify or make an axis base... Smiley

Okay, name waht you want on it. My mapping skills are not really comparable to those of unk0wn, but i coud do some basic layout/placing and then someone else coud do the "fency stuff".

You're welcome to use elements from the Axis depot in my Ardenne Valley map.

As Kolath said, take parts of the layouts from the Axis depots in his map, or in my own.
