Alright. I've had to reformat my computer, and I've got ventrilo installed, but I can't get the bloody thing to work. I've got my server (EIR) set to the proper port #, the right ISP, and the right password. It won't connect. There's no message saying if I've done something wrong, it will just say "connecting" without connecting.
Could someone lend a hand?

Your password. If a mod gave you a [both] {Axis] or {Allys] sign then you need that specific password he gave you or you have to chance your nick completly and use the guest password.
(If your meaning vent)

Your Vent profile was lost, you need a new password, use the password for non-members until someone sets you up with a new one.

Ha ha! Thanks guys... Now I just need to figure out how to get my sound to work (I have standard jacks, but on Vista, either my mic works [front jacks] or my headphones work [back jacks])....
