When playing allies to me, one of my biggest priorities is taking down repair bunkers, but one problem I have is some people not realizing how important it is to take these down.

Now first off they aren't a priority UNTIL you make contact with armor. Once you have made contact with axis armor chop chop and take down the repair bunker!

For infantry if you have a howie on map, get some line of sight, or know where on the map it is and bombard it a couple times. Or use some off map on it, if you have T4 a single barrage should take it out. If you don't have T4 then it will take two, but don't waste both on it, sneak a sherman or rangers back there get some hits on it then off map it. And if you are really mean, wait for him to retreat some armor to it to repair then hit it =D take out hte armor AND the repair bunker!

For AB there is something very cheap and simple you can do. I usually keep 2 of these in my AB company. Have two call ins of 2 AB and there are four set ups that all work great.

Cheap, 2 AB squads 1 with a satchel charge. The satchel will do enough damage to bring it to such low health a single shot from a sherman, m10, and 1 or 2 shots from a greyhound will finish it off. Not recommended unless you can get the armor up there to finish it off.

2 AB squads each with a satchel charge. Quick and easy to take down the repair bunker.

2 AB squads, 1 with satchel, other with RRs. Do this if you know you'll run into a piece of armor. Makes it easy to take out both the weakened armor and the repair bunker.

2 AB squads both with RRs. I would only send this if there is something heavy like a tiger or KT that you need to take down. And in that case I suggest taking down the tank before taking out the bunker!

I'm not sure what an armor player does, but if someone knows post it here!



I post this because recently I played a game with an AB player (wasn't you haro) and I told him to send some RRs or satchel charge to a repair bunker and take it out. I didn't have the ability to take it out, so I asked him to. Well he never did even though he said he would, and we ended up fighting the same P4 and stug about 2 times because they kept going back for repairs =/

I've found that tier 2 off map can kill a repair bunker. And the panther next to it.

When i played Airborn no bunker was left alive and no arty unit left the battlefield in there hands.
