We'll be doing everything manually or through programming.  You'll have to post your replays.  Something like Relic Online is ideal but FAR FAR down the road.  (FAR FAR FAR). Wink

Testing has been done and it's possible for people playing our mod to piggy back on RO.

You will be able to play your battles on Relic Online or by using Hamachi.  Replays will be uploaded to the site as well as the CSV export that the game will produce.  Once all the battles are completed for the round, maintenance will be run on the site to update the system.

Like Ucross said, a system like Relic Online where all the game functions are done within the game would be extremely ideal but will be much further down the road and most likely require funding in order to purchase an engine license from Relic.

I think using hamachi could open some unique perspectives since it might enable customizations, battle reports, etc more for now.

That, and theres still some people having issues with RO.

yeah I agree. It would be wise to use hamachi for the mean time. just that when the mod became very popular and lots of people ar donating money, then we could get a server of our own.

Donations?  We just advertised on the main COH page and didn't even get enough people to post a message (as guests no less) to signup for the 'alpha' test.  I really think the lack of a website and showing them something concrete is keeping them away.  At least I have that's the problem or a lot of our work could be in vain...

Its a bit ahrd to show them something concrete when we are still developing things.   Wait until we have finished stuff to a usuable level before asking for donations....
