Please post here if you have any technical difficulties with EIR:R launcher installation, keep this thread on topic please. Easier for people to find their solutions if they are all in the same place.

PLEASE POST ALL YOUR LAUNCHER PROBLEMS HERE.

Also --- LAUNCH YOUR GAME FROM YOUR COMPANYOFHEROES DIRECTORY, do not use your desktop shortcut.

Ah, finally! An unlocked thread!

Well, the Updater problem is still there, so not starting that.

Installed Directx9 and removed EIR:R and re-installed.

Then I start the Launcher, no problem now (started from the COH folder), but I can't log-in, and I'm sure I have the right username/password (just logged out on the forum to validate).

Intresting. .NET gave me a 404 error when the AUtoUpdater was attempting to DL a file, although the AutoUpdate didn't specify which...

Yeah, if possible check your log.txt file in your EIRRLauncher folder. If there is something in there, upload it here. Otherwise, it seems restarting and launching again usually works out.

And we know about the players thing.

Don't run the AutoUpdater. Run the EIRRLauncher inside the EIRRLauncher folder.

I've got the 404 file not found error at least 23 (125 files total) times.. Throughout the autoupdater process from .NET Framework.

On completion of the updating i recieved the error "Value of '126' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'minimum' and 'maximum'. Parameter name: Value"

Which means I can't launch it if I haven't installed COH ? Blast, I won't be able to make my company @ my office then...

Unless you can install the launcher at work, no.

Otherwise, it will work =) - doesnt need COH.
