I would like to open discussion on basic (non upgraded) bren carrier.

It has 4 pop cost, while all other transporters have only 3. I doubt anyone will argue that it is the weakest transporter hull-wise, weapon-wise, transport capacity-wise also it provides the least protection for its passengers.

In addition it is way overpriced in recources 220 manpower and 35 fuel. Definately not worth it.

So that is why this is one of the least popular units of british forces. In order to make it viable a change has to be made.

A Speed boost would definitely make it worthwhile.  It's only meant to be used for Infantry transport but i'd like the speed of it to be somewhere between an Infantry Halftrack and a Jeep, then it would be at least a decent scout or transport and worth it's money.

Or else reduce the cost quite a bit, probably at least 10 off fuel.

A 10 off fuel cost would mean it still costs 10 more MP than an IHT does...
The bren carrier needs to cost at most 40 MP more and 5 fuel more than a Jeep does(150 MP and 15 fuel) with a popcap cost of 3 - then it would actually be somewhat worth it. No changes to MMG carrier, though ^^.

I actually think this price balance is pretty on the money, I don't see anyone field these, and if I did, I'd call them crazy!

Regular bren carrier needs a buff. I bought one in my brit army to parade my lieutenant around in because I had extra money, but otherwise they're pointless.

I've done rangers in bren carrier combo's before that worked semi well depending on what u were going after. If the bren had more speed to it it would be a much more effective tactic
