Yea the flakvierling needs some love too. A PE ally built 2 the other day, they didn't do much before dying. A bit like the old bofors, got spotted, then range killed to death. And they can't move.

We need to figure out a way to deal with fixed defensive structures.

In the past it was just immobile but cheap mg nests and mg42 bunkers. Immobile but long range 88s and howitzers. Now we have the in between semi-mobile brit stuff, and the poor short range immobile long build time flakvierling.

Maybe should just scrap the Flakvierling and give it's damage stats to the werblewind.

I don't really have trouble with the StuH killing emplacements, except that it can do it from behind blocking cover. Which is a death sentence for immobile targets. On the other hand, Brits do have PIATs.

I thought Flaks took too long to setup before the emplacement change, now it's just insulting. Wink

this is how you should defeat defenses:

1: DAMAGE and weaken with arty, before attacking.
2: draw attention with some heavy slow armor with big front armor or some inf gettin supressed
3: abush with storms, drop airborne, flank with halftracks or light vehicles to finish them off.

problem with 1: mortar HT get killed by 17, wehr mortar get killed by mortar emplacement, nebel doenst do dmg

problem with 2: 17 pounder range and dmg fails, even a KT is useless to it and thats without AP rounds.

problem with 3: once you get your vehics behind it, they dont do dmg to 17 pounder, and die after some time gettin buttoned, or thers a bofors around.

Its fucking sim city everywhere i look. oh wait my 17 p took some damage lets move it 2 feet too the left. puh thats better full health again! yay!

Get 3 paks on the field at once and make those sim city spammers cry, fire 2 shots with each one, fall back, re-cloak, and set up your support teams, and letīs see what they can do.

but you are right the pak38 is in current state of game the best emplacement destroyer (that do not mean that it is actually very good for this task)

but you can avoid that by stepping out of the emplacement in time...even if the empty emplacement will be destroyed your dudes can build a new one

Itīs a bit hard to hit something that is in the fog of war and you canīt see... :p, schrecks and paks are the best counters right now... I prefer paks because those donīt get sniped by the 17s >.>..

Don't forget that piats can snipe infantry out of buildings, happened a stackton now, even the HMG is worthless against the piat blob which will just snipe it out of a building, such complete and utter bullshit.
