Ventrilo problem

In ventrilo when I log in it I can't speak but I can hear.

All my systems are on and ventrilos work on other servers and all works

My friend tried as well and all we see is our phones are yellow and we can't hear one another.

Wtf?

You need to register to the server, its so that guests cant come in and flood the server with their soundboard BS.
(It's either that or you would have to sit in a registration channel untill someone could register you)

It's more than just one person, and you can't trace someone who uses a dynamic IP AFAIK.

Then you should also know about free proxies, which there are too many of to ban them all.

Also, I'm pretty sure you don't deal with one problematic guy by banning a whole IP range, possibly containing legitimate bank customers.

Guys this was just about why I can't chat in ventrilo using the voice chat not about trollers who luv to annoy the hell out of people...

Anyway I don't know about you guys but I think keeping the EIR Help Channel locked from visitors is idiotic...

Considering that EIR help is more for the staff to help users with problems, it's kind of redundant to allow no-speaking guests in there when we can simple register them on the spot and help them at the same time.

You can chat in ventrilo when you get registered. We hate the system just as much as you do, but until certain people stop doing certain things with our details, you're going to have to live with it I'm afraid. I'm sorry I can't stay on ventirlo 24/7 just in case you come online; take some initiative an PM a staff member to get yourself registered, that's what about 30 other members have done already.

Some of us hang around in the help room. Nobody gives a shit about registering because after coming in they just leave or when they do register they ask retarded questions for endless amounts of time; only to leave.

(No, I am not doing my usual trolling to the newbies through this process)

EIRRMOD registered me and then it stopped working, ive been on vent since tls and no problems, till now. i cant get on to goto the help room

You guys need to check your settings, and make sure that your mics are set up. I have had this issue in the past, and all you need to do to solve it is make sure that your mics are set as your input device.
