On occasion I've witnessed my Goliaths doing no damage to light vehicles even though I exploded them right next to it.

I looked into it and apparently Goliaths don't have 100 percent accuracy vs moving light vehicles.

I'm pretty sure it would also be possible for a tank to dodge a Goliath if it was getting vehicle cover. There is also 25 percent bonus for incoming accuracy some units get at vet 1.

I think if something is in the blast radius of an explosion it should take damage. It doesn't really make sense for something to take no damage from an explosion.

Make Goliath accuracy greater than 100?

I really dont think one of the most cost effective weapons in the game needs any buffs.

Or I may have to rebuild my 8 goliath company again.

I think nothing should be 100% pwnage or accurate Grin Unless you're really unlucky -as you might be- goliaths rape when they hit.

Im well aware of what Goliaths can do. If the accuracy was more it would be able to kill retreating squads lol. Ok nvm that.

Just make it so it can hit moving light vehicles better?

If they're moving it means they're running away xD

Because having 90 munitions and 10 fuel disappear down the drain for no reason whatsoever is totally fun and fair.

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

............
the goliaths accuracy is in the luck you have while driving it towards your target. will it blow before its there? will it be missed by the ATG? not if it actually does dmg when it blows right under your target.

but i dont think this happens often, if it happens every time it hits a moving vehicle, it sould be changed, if not, leave it alone

this happens so rarely it shouldn't really matter. The accuracy "penalty" is there to assume that most l ight vehicles are fast and if they're moving fast, they've got a chance to be in the blast radius but not get the full blast. so leave it be.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I've seen a Goliath miss a vet 2 1/4th hp Quad that was right on top of it.

That was tragic.

if anything, goliaths should be nerfed. Keep the unit as it, but reduce its use to maybe 1 or 2 max per company. Theres nothign worse then facing gamesguy's 8 goliath company...It can even take a vet 3 perching down to about 1/3 of its health in one shot...enough said.

I think they are good as they are.  Having 100% accuracy would be more realistic, but would likely damage gameplay.  Just now I was playing a game where I had a Panther and a Marder attack a vet 2 Captain.  Realistically that Captain would have been long gone after firing 4 or 5 shots right at him, but if taking out a vet 2 Captain was that easy, things would get very frustrating for the British.  For the Goliath, it's the same concept.  Keep in mind those Goliaths are still wicked deadly... *misses his Stuart tanks*

light vehicles are also some of the only units in the game that gain incoming accuracy buffs with vet 1.  That does help in dodging large explosions.

most units just get incoming damage buffs.
